This guide explains Notifal analytics numbers in plain language. Open the dashboard first: On-Page Analytics Dashboard.
Engagement metrics (Pro)
| Metric | What it counts | Plain meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Impressions | Notification displayed on screen | How many times people saw it |
| Clicks | Clicks on tracked links and buttons | How many times people acted on it |
| Closes | Close button or dismiss actions recorded | How many times people closed it |
| Dismisses | User-initiated dismissals (subset of closes) | Intentional "go away" actions |
CTR (Click-Through Rate): Clicks ÷ Impressions. Example: 50 clicks from 1,000 impressions = 5% CTR. Higher CTR usually means the message and button are compelling.
Conversion metrics (WooCommerce)
| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| Conversions | Purchases linked to a notification click within the attribution window |
| Conversion rate | Conversions ÷ Clicks (when Pro shows full funnels) |
| Revenue | Money from products the visitor clicked in the notification before buying |
| Influenced revenue | Order total when the visitor clicked any tracked part of the notification, not only a product link |
| Influenced orders | Number of orders credited to notification influence |
Revenue vs influenced revenue:
- Revenue ties closely to a specific product click in the toast
- Influenced revenue is broader: the visitor engaged with the notification, then purchased (even from another product)
Both help you see if notifications drive sales.
Order status and pending orders
Influenced orders may show paid and pending counts. By default, processing and completed WooCommerce statuses count as paid. See Attribution Window and Conversion Settings.
Unique users (Pro)
Estimated distinct visitors who saw or clicked notifications in the date range. Useful for reach, not just raw impression counts.
Growth rates (Pro)
Compares the current date range to the previous period of the same length. Positive growth on clicks or revenue means your notifications are performing better than last week or last month.
What free users see
Free installs still see revenue and influenced order metrics. Impressions, clicks, CTR, and charts require Pro. See Enhanced Analytics (Pro).
