Display Rules

Page and Post Targeting

3 min read

Use Pages, Posts, Products, and Post Type rules to control which content types see your notification.

Start with Display Rules Basics if you have not added a rule yet.

Pages and Posts rules

Both use the same visibility pattern:

VisibilityResult
AllEvery page (or every post)
Only specificOnly the items you pick in the list
All exceptEverywhere except the items you pick

Example: Pages → Only specific → select "Contact" and "About" = notification shows only on those two pages.

Posts rule applies to blog posts. When WooCommerce is active, it can also relate to post-like product contexts in the rule checker.

Products rule (WooCommerce)

For single product pages only:

ModeResult
Only specificShow on selected products
ExcludeShow on all products except the ones you select

Use this for product-specific upsells or reviews. For cart-based conditions, see Cart Display Rules (WooCommerce).

Post Type rule (flexible)

Best when you use custom post types (events, portfolio, courses, etc.).

Level 1 , Post types:

VisibilityResult
All post typesAny post type on the site
Only specific typesOnly the post types you select
All exceptAll types except those you select

Level 2 , Individual items (optional):

After choosing post types, you can narrow further:

Items visibilityResult
All itemsEvery item of those types
Only specific itemsOnly picked posts/pages/CPT entries
All exceptAll items except the ones you pick

Example: Post Type → Only "Events" → Only specific → pick three event posts = notification shows only on those three URLs.
