Generate with AI on the OnPage Notifications list builds a complete notification: HTML template plus appearance, timing, behavior, and display rules. Notifal 3.0.0 uses a guided wizard with Noti as a companion. The result is always a disabled draft you review before going live.
This is different from the HTML Builder, which chats with Noti to produce template HTML only. See HTML Builder: Chat with Noti (AI).
Account setup: Connecting Your Notifal AI Account.
Where to find it
- Go to Notifal → OnPage Notifications.
- Click Generate with AI at the top of the list (next to Import), or click the Noti invite strip on the list.
The Generate Notification with Notifal AI window opens. Stay in this window while generation runs.
Wizard steps
Personalization is 6 steps, then Connect (Free only), Generating, and Done.
Pro sites skip Connect when the license is active for this domain.
Step 1: Industry
Choose the closest industry card so Noti can personalize copy and layout. If none fit, pick Other and describe your industry.
Step 2: Business
Tell Noti what the site offers and who you serve. A few sentences is enough. This is saved as the site industry profile for later generations.
Step 3: Goal
Pick the outcome you want, for example grow emails, recover visitors, or increase sales. See Layouts and Use Cases for the same goal list.
Step 4: Layout
Choose how the notification should appear:

Layout here is both a design hint for the HTML and the display type imported on the draft's Appearance tab.
Step 5: Palette
Start from a preset palette or add up to 5 custom brand colors.
Step 6: Brief
Write the prompt in your own language. English is not required. Include the offer, audience, message, and any tags or buttons you need.
Reference images (optional): attach up to 3 images (JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF, 2 MB each) so Noti can match a look. Images stay in the browser until you generate. They are not uploaded to the Media Library. Reference images use more credits.
Click Generate with Notifal AI when the brief is ready.
Connect (Free) or auto-link (Pro)
Free sites: verify your Notifal account with email and a six-digit code if this site is not linked yet.
Notifal Pro sites: Connect is hidden. Notifal uses your license key and domain to link the site and apply the Pro monthly allowance (gateway default 100/month vs 10 on Free).

Generating
Stay in the popup while Notifal AI writes copy, shapes the layout, and applies your brand. Generation often takes a few minutes, longer when you attach images or write a long brief. You can cancel from the loader.
If a previous request is still running, click Generate again to keep waiting on the same request without using another credit.
Done
When import finishes:
- A success panel shows the draft title, layout, goal, and a preview.
- Optionally rate the result (Helpful or Needs improvement).
- Click Open notification settings to review Template, Appearance, Timing, and Display Rules.
- Click Edit template with AI to open the HTML Builder with Noti chat for template-only tweaks.
- Turn Enable Notification on when you are satisfied.
Review before going live
- Open the notification in the editor.
- Check Template, Appearance, Timing, and Display Rules.
- Turn Enable Notification on when you are satisfied.

Import JSON from another source
The OnPage Import button still accepts a JSON or ZIP export (including Paste JSON). Use this for backups, staging copies, or JSON you exported from another trusted Notifal site.

| No generations left | Wait for monthly reset or upgrade your plan |
