Duplicating and Bulk Actions

The OnPage Notifications list lets you duplicate, export, and trash notifications without opening each one. This guide covers single-row actions and bulk actions.

Go to Notifal → OnPage Notifications to follow along. New to the list? See Navigating the Notifal Admin Menu.

List tabs

At the top of the list, filter by status:

See Understanding Notification Status for what published and draft mean.

Duplicate one notification

From the row actions (under the notification title):

1. Hover over the notification title.
2. Click Duplicate.
3. A copy appears in the list with (Copy) in the name.
4. The copy is saved as a draft with Status off.

The duplicate includes all settings, template link, and labels.

From bulk actions (see below): select rows, choose Duplicate, click Apply.

Move to trash

Single row: click Trash under the notification title.

Bulk: check the boxes next to notifications, choose Move to Trash from the dropdown, click Apply.

Restore from Trash: open the Trash tab, select items, choose Restore, click Apply.

Delete permanently: in the Trash tab, use Delete Permanently (this cannot be undone).

Export notifications

Export saves a JSON or ZIP file you can import on this site or another.

Export one notification

1. Check the box next to the notification.
2. In Bulk Actions, choose Export.
3. Click Apply.
4. Your browser downloads the file.

Export several at once

1. Check multiple notifications.
2. Choose Export and click Apply.
3. You get a bundle file with all selected notifications (and their templates when needed).

Import (related)

The list also has Import and Generate with AI buttons at the top:

• Import , upload a JSON/ZIP export or paste JSON from an AI tool
• Generate with AI , hosted wizard that imports a disabled draft (template plus settings)

Imported notifications are saved as disabled drafts so you can review before going live.

Search

Use the search box to find notifications by title. Combine search with status tabs to narrow a long list.

• [ ] I know duplicates start as drafts
• [ ] I can trash, restore, or permanently delete from the Trash tab
• [ ] I can export one or many notifications as JSON/ZIP
