Notifal AI is hosted generation built into Notifal 3.0.0. You describe what you want, and Notifal generates template HTML or a full notification draft for you.
Connection is passwordless for free sites: enter your email, receive a six-digit code, verify once, and the site stays connected until you disconnect.
Use hosted AI from:
- HTML Builder: Chat with Noti (AI) , floating chat for template HTML
- Generate a Notification with AI , full notification draft (template plus settings)
When connection is required
| Feature | Connection needed? |
|---|---|
| Noti chat in HTML Builder | Yes, unless already connected or Pro auto-connect applies |
| Generate with AI OnPage wizard | Yes, unless already connected or Pro auto-connect applies |
| Already connected on this site | Connect step is skipped |
| Notifal Pro active on this domain | Connect step is skipped; credentials are linked from your license |
You connect per WordPress site, not per browser session. Once verified, other admins on the same site can generate when they have permission to edit Notifal content. Only site administrators can disconnect the account.
Free plan vs Notifal Pro
Hosted generation uses the same Noti / wizard experience in both cases. The difference is how the site links to your Notifal account and which monthly allowance applies.
| Free (Notifal plugin only) | Notifal Pro (active license on this domain) | |
|---|---|---|
| Connect step | Shown once; email verification required | Hidden; site links automatically from license key + domain |
| Account email | Email you enter during verification | License owner email stored during Pro activation |
| Monthly allowance | Free plan allowance (default 10 generations/month on notifal.com) | Pro plan allowance (default 100 generations/month on notifal.com) |
| Plan detection | No matching Pro license for the connected site | Active Notifal License Manager entitlement for the same domain |
| Reconnect later | Only if you disconnect or credentials expire | Automatic when Pro stays active; manual Connect only if auto-link fails |
Allowance values are configured on notifal.com in Notifal AI Gateway → Settings (Free monthly allowance, Pro monthly allowance). Every account also respects the gateway Absolute monthly ceiling (default 1000), which is the hard safety cap regardless of plan.
When your allowance is used up, wait for the monthly reset or upgrade your plan on notifal.com.
Free plan: Connect step by step
The Connect step appears inside Noti chat or the OnPage wizard when the site is not yet linked:
- Enter the email address linked to your Notifal account (or the one you want to use).
- Read the data disclosure and check I understand and agree.
- Click Send verification code.
- Open the email and copy the six-digit code.
- Paste the code and click Verify and connect.
After success, the panel shows your connected email, plan badge (Free or Pro), and remaining generations for the month. The site remembers this connection in the WordPress database until someone disconnects.
Notifal Pro: automatic connection
When Notifal Pro is installed, activated, and validated for the current site domain:
- Notifal stores your license key, domain, and license owner email locally.
- Hosted AI does not show the Connect step.
- Notifal links the site to your Notifal account using the license proof (server-to-server, no email code).
- Generation uses your Pro monthly allowance when the gateway finds a matching active license for the same domain.
This happens automatically when you activate Pro and whenever you open Noti or the OnPage wizard while Pro is active and the site is not yet linked.
Monthly allowance and plans
Hosted generation counts against your monthly allowance on notifal.com:
| Detail | What you see |
|---|---|
| Remaining generations | Shown on the connection panel after connect |
| Plan type | Free plan or Pro plan badge |
| Reset | Allowance refreshes each billing month |
| Gateway defaults | Free: 10/month, Pro: 100/month, absolute ceiling: 1000/month |
These defaults live in Notifal AI Gateway → Settings on notifal.com and may be changed by Notifal administrators without a plugin update.
Reference images use more credits than text-only prompts.
Site industry profile
On the OnPage wizard Business step (and similar industry fields), you may describe your niche (for example "WooCommerce fashion store").
Notifal saves this once per site to improve AI suggestions across HTML Builder and OnPage generation. It is optional but recommended for better copy and layout choices.
Disconnect
To remove the connection from this WordPress site:
- Open Noti chat or the OnPage wizard connection panel while already connected. Pro sites that auto-connect can still disconnect from the connection panel when it is shown after a manual fallback.
- Click Disconnect account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Hosted generation stops until someone connects again.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Code email did not arrive | Check spam, wait a minute, click Resend code |
| Code expired or invalid | Request a new code and enter the latest six digits |
| "Something went wrong" on verify | Confirm the site can reach notifal.com (no firewall blocking outbound HTTPS) |
| No generations left | Wait for monthly reset or upgrade plan |
| Wrong email connected | Disconnect, then connect with the correct address |
| Pro active but Connect still appears | Confirm the license domain matches this site URL, re-save Pro license, or disconnect and reconnect Pro |
| Pro active but Free allowance shown | License domain on notifal.com must match the connected installation domain |
