What Is Notifal? (Free vs Pro)

4 min read

Notifal helps you show on-page notifications on your WordPress site. These are small, attention-grabbing messages that appear while visitors browse, such as a sale alert, a signup prompt, or a recent purchase notice.

If you already installed Notifal, you may have followed Installing and Activating Notifal and Your First On-Page Notification. This article explains what Notifal does and how Free and Pro compare.

What are on-page notifications?

An on-page notification is a popup, bar, toast, or similar element that appears on your website based on rules you set. You control:

  • What it looks like (design, position, animation)
  • When it shows (delay, scroll, schedule, and more)
  • Who sees it (all visitors, logged-in users, specific pages, and more)
  • What it says (static text or dynamic data from your site or store)

Notifal includes a template library with ready-made designs you can import, plus tools to build or edit your own templates.

Pro adds:

  • Advanced content source filters (multiple filters, custom meta fields)
